Frequently asked questions

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am competitively priced, but a little higher than the normal pricing because we provide services others don't.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to meet with the customer, talk about pricing and see their photos of what they'd like. Then we go over their ideas for their hair and makeup (do a trial run). Then I send them a final quote and we book the event.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Cosmetology licence, specializing in hair and makeup and have detailed experience working on photo shoots and high end events.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always loved making people look really pretty! It lifts their spirits. I love my job!

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types: celebrities, family, friends, neighbors, wedding parties, photo shoots, prom and seniors, you name it!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My favorite was a photo shoot for identical twins (my daughters) we had so much fun doing hair and makeup and their Senior photos turned out to be some of the best I've ever seen!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire a licensed Cosmetologist for the most important day of your event. If hair and makeup is not the best it can be for the bride then the rest of the day isn't the same. You get one day! make it count by hiring someone who has trained professionally to do just hair and makeup and didn't learn with video. They will take care better care of you if you get a good one!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Just know exactly what you want and provide photos this helps the professional re-create what you want so you are really happy in the end.
